I worked closely with Kate in my role as a Sr. Product Manager at MobileIron. We were designing the new Enterprise app store interface put together with tons of user behavior research, usability testing and feedback. It involved lot of moving parts and the scope was constantly changing. Kate handled everything with a smile and was up for the challenge.
She meticulously plans and offers creative multiple solutions to a given problem that helps narrow down the right behavior. Her interactions with the engineering/QA is awesome and she doesn't hesitate to get her hands dirty if needed. She is extremely hard working and detail oriented and that reflects in her well thought out designs.

Her work to understand the challenging technology behind Bleep to be able to bridge the gap between how tech works and how users expect to use the product played a significant role in how the product was formed.
In addition to being a great user experience designer, she is a great artist and can create beautifully designed interfaces to bring her vision of user experience to life.

I recently attended a Live Whiteboard Design Challenge session led by Kate, and it was an incredible learning experience for a beginner in UX design like myself. The session was well-structured, with participants divided into pairs in separate Zoom rooms. This setup made it easier to collaborate and focus on our projects.
Kate gave us interesting prompts to choose from, which really got our creative juices flowing. My partner and I worked on a project to help organize city residents, a task that was both challenging and fun.
What stood out the most was Kate's support and guidance. She moved between the rooms, helping everyone and ensuring we were on the right track. Her feedback after our presentations was detailed and extremely helpful, answering all our questions thoroughly.
This session was not just informative but also really enjoyable. I learned a lot and felt more confident in my UX design skills afterward. I highly recommend Kate's events to anyone starting out in UX design. They are not only educational but also a great way to connect with others in the field.
